Examination regulations

IQPR together with "Deutsche Akademie für Public Relations" (DAPR) has developed an international examination programme for Public Relations practitioners.

This DAPR/IQPR Diploma is based on a series of training courses that follow a curriculum established in nearly 20 years in Germany at DAPR.

The main target audience of the IQPR diploma are people interested in pursuing a career in public relations or those who have been working in the business for a couple of years at junior level.

The first examination took place in Brussels in October 2008.

Condition to participate is a PR consultant diploma (for candidates from Germany either from DAPR, PZOK, DPRG or AKOMM), a university diploma in PR or communications sciences or practical experience in the communication field for several years.

During the examination participants should prove a deep PR knowledge in fields like "strategic planning" and "crisis communication", but in "international PR" and "PR quality management" as well. Knowledge about the "European Union" with EU parliament, commission etc. will be checked too.

The next examination will take place on 4th ans 5th September 2009 in Brussels.
