Quality in public relations is becoming more and more a key issue. And it is related with the International Institute for Quality in Public Relations that has been initiated by the three international PR associations IPRA, CERP and ICO (today ICCO).
"Our profession needs a set of quality standards which is acknowledged by us all, as one of several steps that can bring us to a par with older established professions", said Roger Hayes, the former IPRA president. And he recommended the Minimum Quality Standards (MQS) for implementation of its concept in the organisation of every PR practitioner.
